1310 Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 — effective 12th July 2026.
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones our website uses, and how you control them. It's part of how we handle your information — our Privacy Policy at 1310.io/privacy-policy has the full picture.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember things — like keeping you logged in, remembering a basket, or counting visits. Some are essential for a site to work at all; others are optional and only run if you agree.
The short version
We use essential cookies (the site doesn't work without them) and, only if you consent, analytics cookies — from Squarespace (our website platform) and Google Analytics — that give us anonymous statistics about how the site is used.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we never sell information about your visits.
Nothing non-essential is set until you say yes on our cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time.
Cookies on 1310.io
Essential — always on (these keep the site secure and working; UK law does not require consent for them)
Analytics — only with your consent
Squarespace Analytics — built-in, privacy-focused site statistics (pages visited, how visitors found us). We see aggregates, not identified individuals.
Google Analytics (GA4) — helps us understand how people use the site so we can improve it. The data is statistical: pages viewed, rough location (town/city level), device type, and how you found us.
A few honest details about Google Analytics: the measurement data is sent to Google, which processes it on our behalf; Google's servers may be outside the UK, and transfers are protected by recognised safeguards (Google's data processing terms and UK-approved transfer mechanisms). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store your full IP address. We have not enabled advertising features or audience sharing, and we set analytics data retention to 14 months. More on how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Our other sites
Ordering (order.1310.io), your customer portal (control.1310.io) and our status page (status.1310.io) are separate systems and use their own cookies — essential ones to run your session and keep you signed in.
How to control cookies
Cookie banner: when you first visit, we ask before setting anything non-essential. Change your choice any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer.
Your browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies (look for "cookies" in settings). Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.
Google's own opt-out: you can additionally block Google Analytics across all websites with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We honour your choice: non-essential cookies are not set until you consent, and withdrawing consent stops them being set from that point on.
Changes and contact
We'll update this policy if the cookies we use change — the version and date at the top always tell you where you stand. Questions: privacy@1310.io.
